Product Details:
One of the most famous tropical islands is that island of Bali. Bali is known as the Island of the Gods due to its rich Hindu heritage blended with island spiritualism. It is fitting that cocoa known as the “Food of the Gods” would find such a natural home on this beautiful island. The chocolate that is produced by these beautiful beans is rich in chocolate flavor and at the same time, very mild without harsh notes produced by similarly rich cocoa beans grown elsewhere.
We have taken these beautiful beans, roasted them to perfection and then slowly ground them in our stone 1920's vintage melangeur to bring out their most beautiful flavor. We have blended milk and vanilla and pure cane sugar with the ground beans to create a milk chocolate like no other. The combination produces an incredible milk chocolate that has gentle flavor notes of licorice and honey. This is easily one of the best milk chocolates being made and one you are sure to enjoy.
The Chocolate Maker's Notes:
I have long been in love with the cocoa produced by the farmers from Bali. I love the rich traditional chocolate flavor produced by these beans and yet the complete gentleness that these special beans bring to the table. There is an important aspect to the flavor of chocolate in that it is a “comfort-food” and the flavor of these beautiful beans is just that – a perfect comfort food.
Because of this, I was really excited to see what we could do to turn these beans into a milk chocolate. Their richness would be a beautiful foil to the creaminess brought by the high quality milk we use to make our milk chocolate with. The end result is, I believe, almost perfection when it comes to milk chocolate. Each time I try it, I grow more appreciative of this chocolate's beautiful flavor. I am happy to say, I believe, we nailed the flavor when we produced this exceptional milk chocolate. I have great faith that you will fall in love with the flavor of this chocolate as I have.

We roast, stone grind, and then gently blend this cocoa with milk making a lucious milk chocolate with flavor notes of licorice and honey you will cherish each and every time you try it.

Presentation:
Each bar is individually foil wrapped and beautifully boxed. Each box is printed on high grade paper providing a luxurious feel in the hand. The Untitled painting on the front of the box is an original piece of artwork by artist Alexander Selytin commissioned by Amano Artisan Chocolate specifically for the Jembrana 30% Milk Chocolate. The borders and details have been gently highlighted with gold foil accenting creating a stunning presentation making it suitable for gifts as well as your own enjoyment.
