Our New Guayas Bar
27 October 2009 in New Product
We haven’t put them up on our ordering site yet. (We’re still awaiting photos of the bars.) For all of you who regularly read our blog you can order our latest new bar now. This is an incredible bar and most of those we’ve done tastings with say it is among our best – many putting it on par with our Montanya and Madagascar bars. The cacao beans we use for our Guayas bar come from the floodplain of the Guayas river in Ecuador. These indigenous cacao beans, called Nacional Cacao, are grown nowhere else in the world. The chocolate we make with these beans have a floral aroma characteristic of Nacional Cacao. You should pick up rich nuanced notes of smoke, green banana and blackberry.
We quickly came to love this chocolate and we know you will as well.
Note: you can go to our main order page to purchase more chocolate for part of your order.
