The San Francisco International Chocolate Salon awards were announced today. We’re very ecstatic yet humbled to have won in so many categories. We one for Best in Salon, Top Artisan Chocolatier, Most Gifted Chocolate Maker, Best Dark Chocolate, Best Milk Chocolate, Best Dark Chocolate Bar, and Best Milk Chocolate Bar.The show was a great experience. I don’t know how many people were there but it was at least ten times as many people as last year. (And probably more) It was at the Herbst Pavilion at For Mason in San Francisco and the facility seemed packed the whole time we were there. So there must have been thousands of people who came through.

I was rewarding yet exhausting to be there. We were so busy giving samples and answering questions that I didn’t sit down until closing time. We brought more chocolate than we thought we’d need but we still ran out by 3:00.
